Religious critics have taken to gospel singer Rejoice Iwueze’s social media comment section to express their concerns about the timing of her first child’s birth. Rejoice, a former member of Destiny Kids, had gotten married in November and recently announced the birth of her child.

Sharing the joyful news on her Instagram page with photos from her maternity shoot, she stated that she and her husband had transitioned from being a couple to becoming parents. In her announcement, she made a cryptic remark suggesting that God could not be trusted.

However, some religious critics questioned the timing of her pregnancy, believing that she might have been pregnant before her wedding. One commenter, Raymond Shola, wrote, “So you married with pregnancy, wow, my Christian sister.” Another user commented, “This story is not clear. You were a month pregnant before your wedding. Congratulations to you, though.”

Many others defended Rejoice, pointing out that nearly 10 months had passed since her wedding, indicating that her child’s birth was not necessarily conceived before marriage.

Rejoice Iwueze had announced her engagement to Oladapo Temitayo Samuel in September 2022, followed by a traditional wedding two months later. Her white wedding took place afterward, and she expressed pride in calling him her husband.

Before her wedding, Rejoice shared her excitement about this new chapter in her life, emphasizing her eagerness to embark on this journey with her husband.
