Reekado Banks says he will reveal  “demonic” character in music industry

Reekado Banks, a well-known singer, has promised to reveal a saboteur of up-and-coming musicians in Nigeria.

According to Banks, the enigmatic individual is either “demonic or clueless,” and he somehow finds the brightest talent, whose careers he ruins with bad choices.

The singer vowed to identify the person in a future interview, implying that he has a history of luring up-and-coming artists, which eventually undermines their career.

“One day, I’ll take an interview to talk about someone in the corners of the entertainment industry, who’s either absolutely clueless or plain demonic,” Banks wrote in a mysterious post on X on Tuesday.

Somehow, the most talented young people end themselves in their laps, and either out of ignorance or outright evil intent, they consent to laws that effectively stifle these abilities and, for some, discourage them from following their aspirations. One day.

His post sparked speculations that he was referring to a personality from his former label, Mavins Records, under whose watch he became a star.

However, Reekado Banks clarified in another post that he wasn’t referring to his former record label boss, Don Jazzy.

He wrote, “It may not be obvious to you all, but I’m definitely not referring to Baba J [Don Jazzy]. Ejo lol , pls n thanks.

“That said, oloriburuku gbaaaa, ni Eni to mo n so yi !”
