Primate Ayodele Urges Prayer, Not Curses, Amid Economic Downturn

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has called on Nigerians to refrain from cursing and protesting against President Bola Tinubu and his ministers in light of the economic challenges facing the country. Instead, he urged citizens to pray for the leaders, noting that they seem confused about the current situation.

In a statement, Primate Ayodele warned that the economy could shut down in the next two weeks if there is no solution to the ongoing crisis. He emphasized the need for prayers rather than curses and protests, as the latter may exacerbate the situation.

“Cursing President Tinubu and those in power will not solve anything. Nigerians should learn to pray for their leaders because we all want the country to be better. I warned Nigerians against voting for APC, but they didn’t listen, and now they are reaping what they sowed. Protests and curses won’t solve anything; we need prayers for our leaders,” he stated.

Primate Ayodele had previously advised the government to address the high prices of food items to alleviate hardship in the country. He highlighted the importance of focusing on stable electricity, improved security, infrastructural development, agriculture, and job creation to tackle the economic challenges.
