The Chairman of the Kogi state People’s Democratic party, PDP, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has declares his party’s readiness to take over Lugard House in 2027.
“All Progressive Congress’s time is up. Kogi people should remain faithful to PDP, given the party’s strong structures and past prosperity in the state.”
, In a statement issued on Friday and made available to newsmen in Lokoja the chairman describes APC as “people living in a rented apartment” and predicts a landslide win for PDP in a free and fair election.”
Gambo however appealed for peace, lawfulness, and collaboration on security, insisting “Kogi is a PDP state”.
Gambo says PDP is working hard to take over Aso Rock too, adding that the party’s structures are strong across the state and Nigeria.
“Kogi is a PDP state,” he insists. He recalled PDP’s past governance as a time of prosperity, saying people are eager for their return.
Part of the Chairman’s message reads: “Kogi people should remain faithful to PDP, stay peaceful, and support security efforts. 2027 is our time, no retreat, no surrender”
“Kogi State is a PDP State. Our structure is still everywhere in the State. If you blow the whistle anyday, anytime, in a free and fair Election, the PDP will win landslide*.
” Let me say that the time for the APC government to pack their load from Lugard House is 2027 and it is a call for no retreat, no surrender”.
Hon. Muhammed pointed out that the citizens of Kogi State have resolved to vote for the PDP in 2027 expressed optimism of a victory Party after the general election”.
” My appeal to Kogi people is to remain faithful and supportive of the PDP. Let’s remain calm and focused. This is not a time for distraction. Let’s be peaceful and law abiding. It is unfortunate that insecurity has overwhelmed us as a people. We as a Party are willing to collaborate in the area of security. This is because, there must be a State before political party”,
He urged the citizens to support the fight against insecurity by supporting Government strategies and policies.
He again concluded by expressing optimism that the PDP will take over Lugard House in 2027, insisting that Kogi is and has remained a PDP State since 1999.
