Chief Tony Okocha, the chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, has dismissed rumors circulating on social media that he congratulated Governor Siminalayi Fubara on his first year in office. Speaking to journalists in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, Okocha firmly denied making any such congratulatory statements and criticized the current administration.

Okocha described the reports as attempts to tarnish his reputation and present him as inconsistent. He asserted that it would be impossible for him to congratulate a government he perceives to be in the “ICU.”

Evaluating Governor Fubara’s administration over the past year, Okocha scored the government zero, labeling it as a sham. He criticized the administration for allegedly operating without a budget, suggesting a lack of transparency and proper governance.
