The Kogi state governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo has given thumb up for the successful conduct of ward and local government congresses in the state.

In a congratulatory message to members of the party across the 239 wards and 21 Local Government Areas of the state on Monday, Ododo said
” The peaceful, transparent, and widely accepted conduct of the Congresses is a clear demonstration of the unity, political maturity, and strong internal democratic culture that define the APC in Kogi State”.

He said that the adoption of the consensus approach in most areas further reflects our collective commitment to harmony, inclusiveness, and the greater interest of the party above individual ambitions.

” I am particularly proud of the discipline, cooperation, and sense of responsibility displayed by our members throughout the exercise. The calm and orderly atmosphere recorded across the state is a testament to the strength of our structure and the deep-rooted belief of our people in the ideals of our party.” The governor said.

He expressed profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his purposeful and courageous leadership of the nation and APC.

“His bold reforms and unwavering commitment to repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth continue to inspire confidence and strengthen our resolve as a progressive family.

He also commend the National Working Committee of APC for the seamless coordination and supervision of the Congresses adding that “Their insistence on due process and strict adherence to the party’s constitution once again confirms that the APC remains the largest and most organized political party in Africa”.

The governor also commended the State Working Committee of the party for their cooperation and hard work that gave birth to the success we are celebrating today.

To the Committee from the National Headquarters that oversaw the exercise in Kogi State, I thank you for your transparency, fairness, and integrity. Your professionalism ensured that the process met the highest standards expected of our party.

He congratulated those who have emerged to steer the affairs of the party at the Ward and Local Government levels for the next four years.

” Your emergence is not merely a victory; it is a call to service. I urge you to deepen grassroots mobilization, strengthen party unity, and uphold the ideology and principles that make our party the preferred platform of the people.” The governor stated.
