    NSCDC warns personnels against job racketeering in Kogi

    The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp ,NSCDC has vowed to dismiss any of it’s officer found culpable of job racketeering in Kogi State.

    Addressing officers in Lokoja on Thursday at the commencement of a three day workshop with the theme “incessant job racketeering and financial fraud in the corps” the Kogi State Commandant of NSCDC ,Akinlade Esther, emphasised the implication of personnel indulging in any form of practice that is inimical to the rudiments of the job and standard of operation.
    Any officer caught in the art of job racketeering will be dismissed”

    Her words “Our actions today goes with the directive of the astute Commandant General Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi whom policies and strategies are dwelled towards capacity building for the Corps.

    “Together we can stand united against any form of malpractice that undermines the trust placed in us by the public and threatens the integrity of our noble agency.

    “Let the lessons learned here today guide our actions and inspire us to be beacons of integrity in a world where deceit and fraud lurk in the shadows.

    In his remark, the Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner (RACC) of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, (ICPC
    Kogi State office, Mr. Ulu James Okoro urged the personnel to inbibe the values of honesty, diligence, and respect for the rule of law.

    “Let us be the guardians of truth and defenders of justice. Only through our unwavering dedication to these principles can we honor the trust bestowed upon us by the people we serve” he added.
