    Nigerians returning home with expired passport are welcome- NIS

    The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved the acceptance of the Nigerians to the Country with expired Nigerian passports.

    The Nigeria Immigration Service made this known on Friday in a statement issued by the special assistant to the comptroller General (foreign desk) DCI BM Lawal in Abuja

    According to the statement, all Airlines are requested to allow holders of expired Nigerian passports to board without hindrance.

    “In addition all Nigerian Diplomatic Missions abroad are kindly requested to circulate this information to airlines operators and border authorities of host Countries for their necessary action.”
