    Nigerian Army neutralises 10 terrorists, nabs nine suspects

    The Nigerian Army says its troops have neutralised 10 terrorists, apprehended nine suspects and rescued some kidnapped victims in sustained operations between Aug. 27 and 28.

    According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Army Headquarters disclosed on Thursday in Abuja, that the operations were carried out across the North-East, North-West, North-Central, South-East and South-South theatres.

    He said that the troops of Joint Task Force, Operation Hadin Kai, OPHK, in the North-East neutralised seven terrorists during a clearance operation at Banki in Bama Local Government of Borno.

    He added that two terrorists were neutraises in Kawuri village, Konduga Local Government and one in Damboa Local Government.

    The source added that troops apprehended three terrorist logistics suppliers in Magumeri and Nganzai local governments in Borno, and captured items from the suspects.

    According to him, troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA in the North-West apprehended four suspects around Kurmin Mashi, Unguwan Shanu and Abakpa communities in Kaduna South Local Government of Kaduna State.
