Joseph Eribo has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Police in Taraba State. Prior to this assignment, he served as the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations in the Kogi State Police Command, Lokoja.
Eribo is the 27th Commissioner of Police to take charge of the State Police Command since its establishment on August 27, 1991. He succeeds Yusuf Suleiman in this role.
In a statement released by Abdullahi Usman, the spokesperson of the Taraba State Police Command, the newly appointed Police Commissioner is urging the residents of Taraba State to provide their support and cooperation in the ongoing efforts to combat crime. The statement emphasized Eribo’s commitment to maintaining public safety and security in the state, assuring the public that the Command under his leadership will steadfastly address various forms of criminal activities.
