Senator Ned Nwoko has reaffirmed his determination to contest for political office, declaring that he remains committed to his political aspirations and the interests of the Anioma people.

Nwoko, while addressing concerns surrounding his political future, said there would be no retreat or surrender in his pursuit, stressing that he would continue to stand firmly for what he believes is right.

He also reaffirmed the Igbo identity and heritage of the Anioma people of Delta State, insisting that their historical, cultural and linguistic ties to the broader Igbo nation remain undeniable.

According to him, the Anioma people have consistently maintained their cultural values, traditions and identity despite years of political and geographical considerations.

The senator maintained that the struggle for recognition, inclusion and equitable representation of the Anioma people would remain central to his political engagement.

Nwoko’s position is expected to further fuel discussions about the political future of Anioma and its place within the broader Igbo political landscape.

He called on the people of Anioma to remain united, focused and committed to advancing their collective interests, stressing that political participation and unity were essential to achieving meaningful development and representation.

The senator’s declaration has also renewed attention to the long-standing agitation for greater recognition of Anioma’s identity and aspirations within Nigeria’s political structure.
