The said report which the writer situated as an interview granted to him by the Chairman of National Salaries Incomes and Wages Commission, Ekpo Nta, Esq. actually emanated from a Two-Day Training Workshop for Salary Inspectors held on the 4th of April, 2023 for the execution of Phase 2 of the 2022 Salary Inspection of selected Ministries, Department and Agencies.

A statement signed by the Head, Press Unit, Emmanuel Njoku explained that It was during thetraining workshop that the Chairman itemised some of the plans and activities of the Commission, like monitoring of the implementation of the National Minimum Wage, the review of the National Minimum Wage coming up next year 2024, and drafting of a National Pay Policy.
