Fans were wowed after witnessing the massive love and reception Odunlade Adekola received at his father’s burial in Ekiti State.

The talented movie star had announced the sad news of his father’s passing a few weeks ago, and he recently laid the elderly man to rest in his hometown in Ekiti.

In the video circulating on social media, the moviemaker, who was recently seen with his colleagues at a Lagos market, was welcomed by a mammoth crowd. Many people surrounded him as Odunlade tried to navigate his way through the growing crowd, with several attempting to take pictures and videos.

At certain points, he was seen trying to calm down the people who had gathered to receive him at his father’s burial. The crowd that turned up for the burial ceremony was so large that the tent provided was too small to accommodate most of the attendees. Some of the actor’s colleagues were seen sitting with him as the service to finally lay his father to rest began. The likes of Muyiwa Ademola, Ibrahim Chatta, Ireti Osayemi and a few others were seen with the vibrant actor at his late father’s burial.
