Labor is grateful to Abiodun for granting Ogun workers  Christmas bonus

Governor Dapo Abiodun has been characterized by the Ogun State Joint Negotiation Committee (JNC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) as a caring leader who prioritizes the interests of employees.

The two unions expressed their appreciation in separate letters to the governor for authorizing the Christmas bonus for state employees, claiming it is another example of Prince Abiodun’s dedication to their members’ well-being.

In a letter signed by Comrade Akeem Lasisi, the Chairman of the Ogun State Council, TUC characterized the bonus payment as an act that will assist employees in overcoming the current economic difficulties.

We are well aware of His Excellency’s sensitive leadership, therefore this outcome was not surprising.

The present administration’s reputation for bringing about constructive changes is further supported by the Christmas Bonus package. The everyday financial struggles that our employees and their families endure will be greatly lessened by this act. We promise that His Excellency’s unanticipated act of concern will inspire our colleagues to aim for even more remarkable accomplishments for our cherished state.

“The government’s efforts to keep our labor relations stable are greatly appreciated.

“Please accept our heartfelt gratitude, unwavering loyalty, and support for your administration,” TUC said.

In its own letter of appreciation, JNC Chairman Comrade Olude Isa said the bonus will empower the state workers to have successful celebrations.

He said: “Beyond rhetoric, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, has done it once more, putting smiles on our faces in this season of celebrating Jesus Christ. The bonus has brought to the state workforce two factors: economic empowerment and the faithful heart of inclusiveness.

“We all received the payment; confidently and joyfully, we went shopping. Also, we felt that, indeed, we are included in the overall schemes of relevant stakeholders in our dear state. Honestly, we are very grateful for the timely gesture.

“May the good tidings of Christmas be with His Excellency always. And to his amiable cabinet, the strength to bring our state to our desired greater heights will surely be bestowed on each and every one of them.

“To you, Sir, our truest, passionate leader, the rewarding spirit of His Holiness will ever remain with you and yours.”
