    Kogi gov.Treat three senatorial districts fairly, Group, UPPP tells Ododo

    The newly elected governor of Kogi State have been urged to treat every senatorial district in the state equally and fairly.

    The United Progressive Political Parties,UPPP stated this on Monday in a press conference in Lokoja, the state capital.

    The press conference was addressed by the Chairman of the group, Alhaji Idirisu Bala.

    While congratulating the winner, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo,Bala said “We appeal to Governor elect Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo to build on uniting the state where section of the three senatorial districts are treated fairly without any iorta of sentiments adding that”united we stand and divided we fall”
    Bala also congratulated the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to have painstakingly followed the processes of conducting the “most freesiest, credible and transparent, election since 1999 Democratic governance”.

    “This election is substantially in compliance with the electoral laws, and the electoral umpires has followed the electoral guidelines as amended, this election is unequivocally devoid of any iorta of sentiments, agenda setting or ethnicity. INEC announced the result after due deligent collation of results from all local government areas of Kogi State and we make bold to say that this election is free, fair and credible and therefore acceptable to us.”

    He said that the mandate is consolidation and discovering new grounds for posterity.

    He appealed to all the political parties especially the APC to be magnanimous in Victory by demonstrating the policy of all inclusive governance as examplified by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

    United progressive political parties is made up of progressive political parties in the state that believes in progressivism, whose aims and objectives is to see kogi agenda thrive in respective of political party affiliation.
