    Kogi APC to Sanction members who Worked against Party during guber poll

    The Kogi state chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC has said that members found wanting during the November 11 governership election should be ready to face sanctions as recommended by the disciplinary committee set up by the party.

    The state Chairman of the party Abdulahi Bello, aka Dollar dropped the hint Wednesday while recieving the report of the committe set up by the party to investigate the role played by some members during the last governership election won by Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

    He however said that the party has also mapped out plans to reward those who were loyal to the course of the APC to win the election in the State.

    “,I want to formally register the party’s sincere appreciation to members of the committee for doing a wonderful job. The recommendation therein would be implemented adequately”.

    “Those found wanting would be sanctioned while loyal members would be adequately rewarded”.Bello noted

    Earlier,the co- chair of the Committee and Commissioner for Solid Mineral Resources, Bashir Mohammed Abubarka, explained that the committee has done its work in line with directive of the party.

    Abubarka, who represented the Chairman of the Committee and Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, pointed out that the Committee met 10 times in the course of their investigation.
