    Kogi APC chairman hails judgement,call for cooperation with Governor Ododo

    The Chairman of the Kogi state chapter of the All Progressive Congress,APC,Abdulahi Bello has hailed the judgement of the election petition tribunal that affirmed the Ahmed Usman Ododo as duely elected as the governor of the state in the November 11 governoship election.

    Bello ,in a telephone conversation with our Correspondent in Lokoja on Monday after the judgment said that it was a good one which have proved that there is hope in the judicial process in the country.

    “The judgement is a clear indication that Kogi people have spoken and have done so loud and clear on their choice of who they prefer and the court has also spoken”

    The state election petition tribunal had earlier on Monday dismissed all the grounds of petition by Alhaji Muri Ajaka ,the candidate of the Social Democratic party, SDP and affirmed the election of Ahmed Usman Ododo as duely elected governor of the state.

    The Chairman said that how governor Odaodo went about the campaign and the election as a whole is a pointer to the fact that he is a good student of former Governor Yayaha Bello’s political school.

    Abdulahi Bello also known as Dollars expressed full appreciation to the electorate for the confidence the have in Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo adding the he will not disappoint them in anyway because he has assured enough experience under his former boss, Yahaya Bello.

    He also called on the opposition to join hands with governor Ododo to move Kogi forward and spend time to improve on their campaign methods to stand a chance in future elections.
