    Kogi 2023:Labour Party officially affirms Hamza Muhammed Deputy Governoship candidate

    The Kogi state chapter of the Labour Party has officially affirmed Hamza Muhammed as the running mate to it’s candidate, Barrister Adejo Okeme in the November 11 Governoship Election.

    This follows the official release of the final list of political parties governorship candidates by Independent national electoral commission (INEC).

    Kogi State Publicity Secretary of the Party, Idakwo Emmanuel confirmed to news men that Hon. Hamza Muhammed is the running mate of Barrister Adejoh Okeme.

    He further emphasised on the competence, character, capacity and credibility of the combination of Governor and Deputy governor of Labour Party.

    With enthusiasm, he gave assurance that Labour Party’s agenda which is Kogi restructuring agenda is set to sail under the leadership of the duo of , Barrister Okeme and Hamza Muhammed.
    “All measures are put in place to move the state from consumption state to production hub”. Idakwo said.

    He described Hamza Mohammed from AHOKO, in Kogi Local Government Council as a “detribalized, liberal, resourceful, purposeful and energetic young philanthropist.”

    According to him,”he was born into the noble family of Late Ogabo of Ahoko, Alh Isa Hamza. He is a Grassroot Mobilizer, Political Influencer and involved in Championing Humanitarian Services across the world due to various services he has rendered in the Diplomatic Desk as an Immigration Officer.

    Hamza began his early education at L.S.M.B Primary School, Gegu Beki where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1978 and further secured admission to Government Technical College Esie Iludun, Kwara State and passed the City and Guild of London Institute in 1983.

    HON. Hamza Mohammed was recruited into Nigeria Immigration Service in February 1988 where he served as a reqular officer in various capacity while furthering his education. He obtained Higher National Diploma(HND) in Building from Kaduna polytechnic, PGD Environmental Planning and protection at University of Abuja in 2012, obtained Msc in Environmental Resources Magt 2017 at Nasarawa State University Keffi, while a Phd in same course is In view.

    Since 1988 HON. Hamza mohammed has worked as regular immigration officer in various capacity in the visa and residency department, diplomatic Desk, passport and other travel documents, office of the provost marshal security unit, Ecowas and African Affairs unit, worked at Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport Abuja and rose to the Rank of Assistant comptroller of Immigration and retired from active service in Feb 2023.

    He is up till date very active and still work as consultant to various Organizations
