    Kidnappers reportedly kill four children in Yola over N10m ransom

    ‎Local vigilantes and other security groups in Hullere, Jambutu area of Jimeta, Yola, Adamawa State capital have reportedly mobilised to search for the remains of four children who have been reportedly killed by kidnappers.

    ‎As reported by a Yola-based entrepreneur, Abba Lauya (also known as ‘Abba.lauya.90’) in his Facebook Page, the children were held for about a week, while the kidnappers demanded a N10 million ransom.

    The family was only able to raise N500,000, which was paid and accepted by the kidnappers.

    ‎But they later received the tragic news that their children have been killed.

    ‎Upon receiving the heartbreaking news, local vigilantes and other security groups were reportedly mobilised to search for the remains of the children.

    ‎Residents have expressed sadness over the ugly incident, and called for urgent action to address the insecurity issues in the country.
