Keri Hilson: ‘Athletes don’t make great partners’

Singer Keri Hilson got real on Cam Newton’s Funky Friday podcast, cautioning women about dating athletes.

While acknowledging their charm and success, she warned that the intense focus required in sports often leaves little room for meaningful relationships.

“People don’t want to get in their way,” she said, noting that emotional availability tends to take a backseat.

Hilson’s honesty struck a chord with listeners who know the game off the field can be just as intense.
