The Nigeria labour congress Kebbi council, has felicitates with Comrade Nasir Idris and Kebbi workers as he added another feather to his life.
State Chairman of Nigeria labour congress, comrade Murtala Usman,in a statement signed by him laden with appreciations and goodwill message described him one rare labour chief who has championed the cause of Kebbi workers and Nigerian workforce during his time as National vice chairman of NLC.
The statement added that it is not out of place to celebrate him as he clocked sixty one as a core unionist and a fountain of unity in labour affairs.
Usman noted the governor’s deeply rooted workers welfare seen in the implementation of new minimum wage of seventy five thousand above the approved wage by the federal government which is testament of his unwavering commitments to workers welfare.
He explained that the former unionist also pledged to review the minimum at the just concluded Nigeria rights of workers hosted by him.
” While we remain apolitical as a union we have the social responsibility to join hundreds of his well wishers to felicitates with him on his birthday,we believe he has lofty plans for Kebbi workers as he celebrates his born day”.
He urged him to use his joyous period to improve on his existing welfare packages for Kebbi workers .
