Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom quarreled over her decision

    Published on

A heated argument erupted between American singer, Katy Perry and fiancé Orlando Bloom over her decision to take a Blue Origin space flight—something Bloom reportedly dismissed as “embarrassing” and “cringeworthy” during their fight.

Insiders say the actor “told her the whole thing looked ridiculous,” deeply hurting his partner. The couple was especially tense because Bloom plans to attend a high-profile space-hosted wedding without Perry, who will be on tour.

“It hurt her feelings,” the source reveals. “Imagine going to space—and your partner isn’t impressed.”

On a radio appearance earlier this year, Perry mentioned that Bloom was “all about” her historic journey—but this recent exchange suggests that support may have shifted.

Bleakly, the insider adds: “He complains about her going to space, then chooses to attend the wedding of the people who made it possible. They’re spiraling, and now even that wedding is fuel for another fight.”

Neither Perry nor Bloom has publicly commented. Sources suggest long-standing pressures—including the reception to Perry’s recent album—have already strained their relationship. Perry’s team reportedly cites the album’s performance as a significant source of stress.

Rumors now circulate that they could be nearing a breakup once Perry’s tour concludes.
