Kanye West is back in the headlines, and this time, it’s not for a fashion stunt or a political outburst. The controversial rapper dropped a bombshell during a chaotic livestream, bluntly declaring, “I’m gay.”

The moment, which was complete with Kanye clad in all-black and wearing a full face mask, quickly went viral, sparking a firestorm across social media.

The ‘Bittersweet’ hitmaker made the revelation while ranting about personal grievances, including issues with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

Despite their 2014–2022 marriage ending in divorce, the two still co-parent their four children.

Kanye’s declaration, which was repeated more than once during the stream, has raised eyebrows, questions, and of course, speculation about whether it was heartfelt or a performance art.
