    Kabba/Bunu LGA Authority Suspends Night Party, Church Vigils, Restrict Movement Between 9pm And 3am

    The Government of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area has announced the SUSPENSION of night party, church vigils and restriction of movement of persons and goods within the territory of the local government area between 9pm and 3am.

    In a statement authorized by the Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu LGA, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, the Local Government declared that the SUSPENSION and restrictions have become necessary for security reasons, directed all churches and mosques to suspend all-night services, including vigils and other crossover events in the local government area beginning from today the 18th of August, 2025.

    The Chairman, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, issued the directive on Monday while briefing newsmen at the LGA Secretariat in Kabba, Kogi State.

    “During the period of the suspension and restriction, security operatives will stop unauthorized social gatherings, church services and movement of persons and goods in all parts of the local government.

    “Only persons on essential duties would be exempted from the restriction order.
    “The general public is hereby advised to observe the suspension and restriction order to avoid any form of brushes with security operatives.

    He, therefore, warned those who were bent on flouting the local’s regulations that the government would bring the weight of the laws on them.
