The Nigerian Youths Initiative Forum (NYIF) has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom, and Senator Ekong Sampson for second terms in office.

Speaking during a press briefing in Abuja, NYIF National President, Comrade Iboro Imose, said the endorsement stemmed from patriotism and an objective assessment of the leaders’ performance and vision.

“Our decision is neither partisan nor emotional,” Imose said. “It’s grounded in deep reflection and patriotic conviction. These leaders have shown courage, compassion, and commitment to national progress.”

He praised Tinubu’s reform-driven policies, saying they are laying the foundation for a self-reliant economy. Akpabio, he said, had restored vibrancy and maturity to the 10th National Assembly, while Umo Eno’s Arise Agenda has transformed governance in Akwa Ibom through peace, agricultural expansion, and rural development.

The forum also commended Senator Ekong Sampson’s people-centred representation, citing projects like ICT centres, hospital upgrades, power infrastructure, and youth employment initiatives across Eket Senatorial District.

As Chairman of the Akwa Ibom National Assembly Caucus, Sampson was praised for sponsoring key bills including the establishment of new federal universities and a Federal Medical Centre in Akwa Ibom South.

“This is not just an endorsement,” Imose said. “It’s a statement of confidence. Leaders who deliver deserve continuity.”

He urged youths to unite around competence and character, adding: “Our democracy grows stronger when we rally around good leadership.”
