Juventus have announced that striker Dušan Vlahović will be out of action until at least February 2026 after tests revealed a high-grade muscle injury to his left groin, sustained during Saturday’s 2-1 win over Cagliari.
Vlahović was forced off in the first half of the Turin victory, and a Monday statement from the club confirmed the severity of the injury. “Further medical consultations will be necessary to determine the most appropriate treatment,” Juventus added.
Italian reports suggest the Serbia international — who has scored six goals this season (three in Serie A and three in the Champions League) — will not return before February. The 25-year-old had recently reclaimed his place as starting centre-forward after speculation over a summer exit and with his contract due to expire at the end of the season.
Now managed by Luciano Spalletti, Juventus sit seventh in Serie A, five points behind leaders AC Milan and Napoli. Vlahović’s absence will test Juve’s attacking depth as they navigate domestic and European commitments during a pivotal phase of the season.
