In a statement issued on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, Soludo described President Tinubu as a courageous and visionary leader whose administration has demonstrated a firm commitment to national unity, peace, and sustainable development. The governor noted that President Tinubu’s tenure would be remembered for its willingness to take difficult but necessary decisions to stabilise the nation’s economy. He specifically highlighted key policy measures such as the removal of fuel subsidy and the unification of exchange rates, acknowledging that while these reforms have imposed short-term hardships on citizens, they are laying the groundwork for long-term economic resilience and transparency. According to Soludo, effective leadership requires prioritising the future over immediate popularity, stressing that the president’s actions reflect a deliberate effort to secure better prospects for coming generations. He further expressed support for the administration’s “Renewed Hope Agenda,” noting that it is gradually steering the country away from fiscal instability towards sustainable growth.
