JAMB RESULT CRISES :Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma Speaks, Accuse JAMB Of Giving Her UTME Result To A Yoruba Student And Publicly Shaming Her

    • Says JAMB in haste to defame her character refused to wait for result of DSS investigation before issuing statement
Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma, the student of the Anglican Girls Secondary School Nnewi (AGSS) Anambra State accused by Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) of manipulating her Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result on Monday said she couldn’t have been able to manipulate her score.

JAMB on Sunday accused Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma of inflating her original score of 249 in the examination as against the 362 announced.

She accused JAMB of conducting a public trial on her without waiting for the result of the investigations already launched by the Department of State Security (DSS).

Mmesoma said in a viral video that she is traumatized and much more shocked to see that after scanning QR code on her result, the name on it has been changed to a Yoruba name.

Displaying the result, she said: “I am Miss Mmesoma and I am the owner of this result. I went to JAMB portal to print this result and this is the result they gave me. This is the result here. This is my aggregate. This is 362 and it is exactly how I downloaded it from the JAMB site.

“They now said that I forged my result and this is what I don’t know. And I am traumatized. They accused me of forging my own result. I am not capable of this, of forging any result and this is the evidence. Okay, they said I have forged my result.

“They scammed this QR Code and it showed another name, a Yoruba name, Omotola Afolabi, 138. And that person that got 138, they changed it again and she got 338, meaning that there is problem somewhere. And I went to (Anambra State) Commissioner of Education office on Friday last week with my Principal and the Education Secretary of Anglican Girls Secondary School, Anglican Diocese.

“So, we went there and showed all these result to the Commissioner of Education and SMS they sent to me. She snapped it and sent to JAMB official. They called back and said that this is a forged result, that I forged it myself, that the JAMB office don’t have the record of this.

“They now said that I forged this (result). They called the DSS (Department of State Services) to come over to her office. The DSS took us to their office and we made our statement. They said they will contact us later, that they are going to investigate this result to know where this result came from.

“Instead of them (JAMB) to wait for the investigation to be over, they posted that I forged my result without confirming. So, am not happy.”
