IPOB – Northern truck drivers sponsored to blackmail us

    Published on

Northern truck drivers were sponsored to black it, according to a Monday statement from IPOB, the Indigenous People of Biafra.

Drivers in Jos, Plateau State, mounted a protest after claiming they were being attacked in the southeast, to which IPOB responded.

According to IPOB spokesperson Emma Powerful, the Northern truck drivers’ allegations were untrue because the organization’s militia branch, Eastern Security Network, or ESN, does not carry out murders.

Part of a statement from Powerful says: “The false, sponsored protest in the northern city of Jos, Plateau State, alleging that IPOB attacked truck drivers in the southeast has caught the attention of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) movement and global family.

Does the IPOB’s movement face any threats from the alleged attacked truck drivers? Those who threaten the Biafra fight in the South-East Region have not been harmed by IPOB members.

“Why are they going to harm defenseless truck drivers who provide things to our area? The people who funded the liars who falsely accused IPOB of attacking and murdering its members in the South-East by calling truck drivers in Plateau State should be aware that they are also the ones who funded insecurity in the region.

“We are not at all moved by any of the sponsored propaganda or blackmail. But if it were to occur, we would denounce it.
