Innoson Vehicles has taken the decision to withdraw the scholarship previously awarded to Miss Joy Mmesoma Ejikeme following the discovery of manipulations in her 2023 UTME examination results.
Initially, Miss Joy’s outstanding performance in the exam had earned her the scholarship from our company. However, subsequent reports questioning the authenticity of her UTME score prompted us to seek clarification from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Additionally, we engaged in direct discussions with Miss Joy to allow her to present her perspective.
In response to the matter, an independent committee established by Anambra State Governor, Dr. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, conducted a comprehensive investigation into the allegations.
The findings of this thorough investigation have confirmed that Miss Joy Mmesoma Ejikeme indeed manipulated her UTME results. This outcome is deeply disheartening and goes against the core values that Innoson Vehicles holds dear, especially those underpinning our scholarship program.
In light of these findings and in alignment with our principles, we have made the difficult decision to revoke the scholarship that was granted to Miss Joy Mmesoma Ejikeme.
This action underscores our unwavering commitment to honesty, integrity, and recognizing merit-based achievements.
We understand that this turn of events is regrettable and may have caused disappointment among those who supported Miss Joy, including her school principal and other well-meaning individuals.
However, it is essential to uphold the integrity of our scholarship program and the values it represents.
Innoson Vehicles remains dedicated to its mission of supporting deserving students, investing in the future of the education sector, and upholding the highest standards of ethics.
Through our scholarship program, we have consistently strived to promote educational excellence and uphold academic integrity.
