    PDP gives Fintiri, Adeleke, others new appointments

    The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has inaugurated a 110-member organizing committee for its 2025 elective national convention, which is set to take place on Saturday and Sunday, November 15 and 16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.

    According to a statement issued by party spokesperson Debo Ologunagba, the committee is tasked with overseeing the preparations and ensuring a smooth convention.

    The statement read, “Sequel to the Resolution of the National Executive Committee (NEC) to hold the 2025 Elective National Convention of our great Party on Saturday, November 15 to Sunday, November 16, 2025, in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital, the following Party members have been appointed as Members of the 2025 National Convention Organizing Committee (Main Committee).”

    Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State will chair the committee, with Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State serving as the first Deputy Chairman. Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State will act as Secretary.
