Nollywood actress and producer Ruth Kadiri has shared why she chooses to keep her marriage out of the public eye.

Speaking in a recent interview, the film star revealed that choosing privacy over publicity has been one of the best decisions she’s made.

Ruth Kadiri explained that by keeping her marriage private, she’s been able to stay grounded and focus on her relationship without external interference. “I think it was the best decision I ever made because it has helped me stay grounded. It has helped me define my relationship. I don’t have external factors deciding how I deal or relate with my spouse,” she said.

The mother of two added that her husband also enjoys freedom from public pressure, since not many people know who he is. “People do not know him, so there is no pressure on his end,” she said.

Clearing the air, she stressed that her husband is not a secret—just private.

She added that he simply prefers to keep a low profile. “Check his social media page, he posts only the word of God—not even his pictures. He is private.”
