    FCT re-introduces on street park and pay rule

    Federal Capital Territory Administration has re-introduced suspended on-street parking management (park and pay) in the Federal Capacity City.

    This was contained in a statement signed by the management on Saturday in Abuja. This is sequel to the conclusion of all legal processes required before the re-introduction.

    According to the statement, from December 2022 to January 31 2023, will be sensitization campaign and Free Trial Operation of the Scheme will commence.

    The full scale implementation of the Scheme is expected to commence by first quarter of 2023. There the Administration notify the public of the plan of activities before the commencement.

    The statement said, the public are assured of excellent service delivery by the operators while maintenance of orderliness in the parking regime in the Territory remains the ultimate goal.
