    The highly anticipated music reality show, Nigerian Idol, kicked off with a captivating first episode, featuring impressive performances by the top 10 contestants that left both the judges and viewers in awe.

    The day began with Victory Gbakara, who mesmerized the audience with a rendition of Alicia Keys’ classic, ‘Fallin’. Savy Henry followed suit, delivering a soulful rendition of John Legend’s ‘You and I’.

    Reigny showcased her vocal prowess with a heartfelt performance of Keyshia Cole’s ‘Heaven Sent’, while Chisom impressed with a rendition of Usher’s ‘You Got it Bad’. Goodness chose Beyoncé’s iconic ballad, ‘Halo’, and Abraham wowed the crowd with Michael Bolton’s ‘Go the Distance’.

    Quest took on the challenging task of performing Celine Dion’s ‘It’s All Coming Back to Me’, while Ose Daniel delivered a moving rendition of Adele’s ‘Make You Feel My Love’. Precious Mac mesmerized with her soulful performance of Alicia Keys’ hit, ‘No One’, and Constance closed the show with Adele’s emotional ballad, ‘All I Ask’.

    As the debut episode concluded, host IK Osakioduwa recapped the unforgettable performances, leaving the audience eagerly awaiting the results of the upcoming eviction.

    Throughout the show, the esteemed panel of judges, including Obi Asika, D’banj, and Simi, provided their insightful opinions and critiques on each contestant’s individual performances, adding to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the competition.
