Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Makurdi have arrested Dr. Aondona Mkor, Special Adviser to the Governor of Benue State on Documentation, Research, and Planning, for alleged sextortion and cyberbullying.

Dr. Mkor was arrested on Friday, 20th June 2025, following allegations by female students that he had sexually exploited and blackmailed them with videos recorded without their consent.

The petitioners claimed Mkor routinely recruited slim, attractive young women for ushering jobs but demanded sexual favours in return. Unbeknownst to them, he allegedly recorded the encounters and used the footage to threaten and manipulate them.

He reportedly shared some of these videos across various platforms, with several now in circulation.

The suspect will soon be charged to court.
