Returning Edo 2024 Governorship ticket to Edo North or having it remain in Edo South because you don’t like the name Esan Agenda, competence is now your new mantra (as if competencies are limited to Edo South and North alone in Edo State) or suddenly zoning is now an alien word to you, you are simply exhibiting cowardice, lack of courage to speak truth to your conscience as you hiding behind an excuse to support whomever by right you want to support not from Edo Central Senatorial District.

The one thing I know for a fact is, Zoning, Religion, and Ethnicity are part and parcel of our politics. You are entitled to disagree with me, this is a fact and it will play out again in Edo 2024 if not already playing out as we speak.

If Edo South or North has been placed in Edo Central position, with her only producing a governor for 10 months in Edo State out of 25 years ending in November 2024, you all probably will be on the street demonstrating right now.

The Senatorial District that produced the Late Prof Ambrose Alli, which history has confirmed as one of the best governors Edo State has had or Prof Osunbor, is capable of producing capable Edo sons or daughters qualified to be the next Governor of Edo State.

Speaking for myself, while the better interest of Edo State comes first for me, I am advocating that the next Governor of Edo State should come from Edo Central Senatorial District. I will withdraw my support if in the end, Edo Central Senatorial District presents the worst candidate.
