Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has criticized Tacha, a former Big Brother Naija star, for her controversial advice to women. In a recent podcast with colleague Phyna, Tacha argued that there’s no need to be faithful in a romantic relationship unless the woman has received a ring from her boyfriend. She suggested that fidelity is only necessary after getting engaged or entering into marriage, where vows are taken.

Responding to Tacha’s viewpoint, Sarah took to her Instagram page, urging Tacha to refrain from misleading young people who look up to her. She emphasized that if one can cheat during courtship, they are likely to do the same in marriage. Sarah expressed concern about the toxicity of podcasts in the country and suggested that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should consider banning them.

In her post, Sarah wrote, “My dear Tacha, you need to be careful with your words. If you can cheat in courtship, you will undoubtedly cheat in marriage, no doubt about it. It’s disheartening to see you boldly encouraging young ladies to cheat on their partners until they receive a ring on their finger. Seriously? Wow, it’s high time Tinubu considers banning podcasts; they are becoming toxic!

“If you’re not ready to settle down, please engage in your activities without influencing these young ladies negatively.

“Cheating and double dating come with numerous disadvantages, and the first is the risk of infection.”
