Davido’s ‘Timeless’ has achieved yet another milestone by securing a spot on Billboard Staff’s prestigious list of the top 50 albums of 2023. The groundbreaking album claimed the 39th position, hailed as a landmark in the global rise of Afrobeats.

Remarkably, ‘Timeless’ stands out as the sole African album featured on the list, amidst a collection of critically acclaimed and highly successful albums from across the globe. Topping the list is Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘Guts,’ a contender for Album of the Year at the 2024 Grammys.

Davido’s album emerged following a brief hiatus, heightening anticipation and contributing to its immense commercial success. ‘Timeless’ has also earned a nomination for Best Global Album at the upcoming 2024 Grammys, marking a significant achievement for Davido.

Additionally, two standout tracks from the album, ‘Unavailable’ featuring Musa Keys and ‘Feel,’ have received Grammy nominations for Best African Music Performance and Best Global Music Performance, respectively.
