Kanye West’s recent fallout with Adidas over alleged counterfeit Yeezys has garnered attention, with Davido, a Puma partner, offering his support and suggesting a collaboration with the rival brand.

West took to Instagram on February 26, 2024, to air his grievances, revealing that Adidas had filed a $250 million lawsuit against him. Accusing the brand of producing unauthorized shoes bearing his name and withholding payments, West called for a boycott of the brand.

In solidarity, fans and celebrities, including Snoop Dogg, rallied behind West, prompting gratitude from the rapper for their support.

Amidst the fervor, Davido, known for his partnership with Puma since December 2021, seized the moment to extend an invitation to West, urging him to consider joining Puma. Davido’s involvement with Puma has seen him feature in campaigns and even walk the brand’s runway during New York Fashion Week in 2022. His support for West comes alongside his own advocacy, exemplified by his 2023 collection release, titled “We Rise By Lifting Others.”

As the saga unfolds, Davido’s gesture signals a potential shift in alliances within the competitive landscape of fashion and endorsements.
