In a statement shared on Thursday, DAF highlighted its continued dedication to enhancing the lives of underserved individuals. “This year’s donation of ₦300 million will go towards assisting orphanages and supporting programs aimed at curbing drug abuse and addiction among Nigerian youth,” the statement read. Davido’s philanthropic gestures are well-known, with past donations including ₦300 million to orphanages earlier in 2024 and ₦250 million to 292 orphanages in 2021. In 2023, he also donated ₦237 million to over 400 orphanages.
