Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has made serious allegations against fellow artist Davido, claiming that he is being falsely accused and oppressed. In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) dated August 21, 2023, Krane suggested that Davido has orchestrated a smear campaign against him, involving authorities to frame him for a Flutterwave and cryptocurrency scam.

Krane asserted that Davido used the police to fabricate charges against him. He stated, “If anything happens to me, @davido should be held responsible. Oppressor @davido has paid them to arrest me. They wrote a petition lying that I am into Flutterwave & crypto scam just to arrest me. This is how they keep using bad cops to spoil the name of the police.”

The singer compared his situation to that of the late artist Mohbad, urging that justice should not require a tragedy to be achieved. He expressed concern about the implications of allowing Davido’s alleged actions to go unchecked, stating, “If @davido is allowed to bully & oppress me, people will suffer because it would be power to the oppressors.”

Krane further claimed that Davido’s actions are motivated by personal interests, alleging that Davido himself is involved in scamming through cryptocurrency. He added, “No need to wait for something to happen before shouting for justice. Nigeria, I’m being arrested & oppressed for seeking justice. They are trying to set me up because they can’t hold anything on me.”

The posts reflect a heated and escalating dispute between the two artists, with Krane accusing Davido of leveraging his influence to undermine and discredit him. The situation has sparked significant attention and debate among fans and observers on social media.
