Comedian Arole slams University fellowship leader

    Published on

Popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Woli Arole, has criticized university fellowship leaders—commonly referred to as “Papas” and “Mamas,” for allegedly exploiting students under the guise of religious practices.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Arole condemned the trend of some student fellowship leaders demanding food items from fellow students as “first fruits.”

Expressing his displeasure, the comedian wrote:

“I heard they are already calling you ‘Papa and Mama’ in the university because you are a fellowship leader, and you are also telling students to bring their foodstuffs as FIRST FRUIT. What nonsense.”
