Pastor Emmanuel 0nyebuchi Azuh Esq of Assembly First Church and renowned Makurdi-based Legal luminary, has called on the federal government to release proscribed IP0B leader, Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally or peace prevail.

The cleric, who spoke on Thursday in Makurdi, frowned at the continued detention of Kanu where several ruling in the Supreme Court and other lower courts had vindicated him on a no case submission.

The man of God stressed that even the identity of those who went and adopted Nnamdi from Kenya are kept secret, stressing that everything about the case is shrouded with uncertainties.

He wondered about the motive behind the continued detention of the IP0B leader.

The pastor-cum barrister restated that the South Easternera see Kanu as an emancipator fighting for his people.

He further commended the recent agitations for the free Nnamdi Kanu, urging the protesters not to call it off until the purpose is achieved.

“I salute the initiators of the FreeNnamdiKanuNow protests, Mr Omoyele Sowore and other prominent Nigerians who risked their lives to speak out and protest for his immediate release,” he said.
