In Scottish Premiership action, Celtic maintained their eight-point lead at the top with a 4-1 victory over Hibs. Oh Hyeon-gyu, starting in place of Kyogo Furuhashi, scored twice, deflecting in Cameron Carter-Vickers’ shot early on. Matt O’Riley, Luis Palma’s penalty, and another goal from Oh secured Celtic’s unbeaten status in the league this season. Christian Doidge managed a consolation goal for Hibs.

Meanwhile, Rangers secured a 1-0 win away at Hearts, with Abdallah Sima scoring the decisive goal in the 34th minute. Sima, in top form, capitalized on James Tavernier’s through ball to calmly chip past Zander Clark. Despite a late effort from Kenneth Vargas, Rangers held on to the lead, securing all three points. The win keeps Rangers in close pursuit of Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.

In other matches, Aberdeen slipped to second bottom after a 1-0 home defeat to Kilmarnock, while Chris Kane’s injury-time winner lifted St Johnstone out of the bottom two with a 1-0 victory over St Mirren.
