Ilebaye Odiniya, the victorious participant of Big Brother Naija All Stars, has disclosed her intention to change her mobile phone number due to her newfound status. She explained that she is cautious about forming friendships due to past experiences of betrayal.

The model, who hails from Kogi, revealed that prior to her participation in the Big Brother House, she didn’t have close friends, only individuals she communicated with casually. She decided to distance herself from forming deep friendships because of previous betrayals she had endured.

Ilebaye clarified, “Before going to the Big Brother House, I didn’t have friends. I just have people who I talk to. But I didn’t have someone I could call a friend. Because I have had a lot of people betray me in the past. So, I cut off friendship. But I’ve people I talk to.”

Despite her victory in the reality show, she admitted that she hasn’t had the opportunity to reconnect with these acquaintances. When asked about the possibility of changing her phone number, she responded, “Yeah, I have to.” This change is likely a measure to handle the increasing demands on her personal life and maintain her privacy.
