In a night filled with drama, both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid suffered defeats in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, signaling the end of their respective journeys in the competition.

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) emerged victorious over Barcelona in a thrilling encounter, with Kylian Mbappe leading the charge in a stunning comeback. Despite an early lead from Barcelona’s Raphinha, PSG capitalized on their numerical advantage after Ronald Araujo’s dismissal, ultimately securing a 4-1 victory and a spot in the semi-finals with a 6-4 aggregate win.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund overcame Atletico Madrid in a gripping clash to secure their place in the semi-finals for the first time in 11 years. Despite Atletico’s valiant efforts, Dortmund’s resilience prevailed as they clinched a thrilling 4-2 victory, sealing a 4-3 aggregate win and setting up a semi-final showdown with PSG.

In another fixture, Borussia Dortmund advanced to the quarter-finals after defeating PSV Eindhoven, with goals from Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus securing a 3-1 aggregate victory. However, last season’s runners-up, Inter Milan, were eliminated on penalties by Atletico Madrid after a tense encounter ended 2-2 on aggregate.

With Barcelona and Atletico Madrid’s exits, the quarter-finals now feature Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, and others. The stage is set for an exciting draw as the remaining teams vie for glory in the UEFA Champions League.
