    Atiku visits Gbong Gwom Jos, Says Plateau Will Return To Home of Peace, Tourism

    The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate in 2023 general elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Gbong Gwom Jos, HRM Jacob Gyang Buba.

    Atiku led PDP Presidential Campaign Council to pay homage to HRM Jacob Gyang Buba in his Palace.

    Atiku said the visit is to appreciate the role of traditional ruler in nation building, noting his administration would work closely with traditional institution to sustain peace and tranquility across the country.

    He expressed confidence that Plateau State would return to its status as the Home of Peace and Tourism.

    “I feel very honoured and appreciative of the way we were received, and I also thank the Gbong Gwon specially for his generous remarks. Plateau shall return to its status as the Home of Peace and Tourism. “
