Ahmed Ololade, better known by his stage name Asake, is a Nigerian hip-hop artist who has made amends with his father, Fatai Odunsi.

In addition, Asake has pledged to pay for his medical bills and purchase a home for him.

Days earlier, Mr. Odunsi said that the musician had abandoned him as his health began to deteriorate in 2022.

But he acknowledged that Asake has now contacted him in a fresh video released on Sunday.

“His mother should ask him when he last saw me,” Odunsi remarked in Yoruba.

That was the source of my ire, but we have resolved every issue. We are no longer fighting.”

“Asake said he will do everything that I want,” he added. No more issues; we have reached a settlement.

He is currently searching for a new home to purchase for me. He has settled everything.”

Asake has also agreed to take full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat.

Odunsi added: “He has never denied his child, but he has now promised to take full responsibility for the child.”
