‎The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Plateau Central Zone (2027), Chief David Barji, has expressed deep sadness and shock over the gruesome killing of the Mishkaham Mwaghavul (Bokkos Branch), late Mr Yohanna Jatau, in Daffo District of Bokkos Local Government Area.

‎While condoling with the deceased’s family, the Coordinator, Barji Campaign Organisation, Emmanuel Macham JP, condemned the killing, as a barbaric act.

‎

‎Barji described the late traditional leader as an exemplary ambassador of peace, a dedicated community leader, a protective father, and a noble custodian of cultural heritage, particularly for the Mwaghavul nation residing within Bokkos.

‎”This is a painful and heartbreaking loss, occurring at a highly turbulent moment when his wise counsel, guidance, and peaceful intervention are needed the most.

‎”On behalf of myself and the entire Barji Campaign Organisation, we extended our deepest condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the Mwaghavul nation, the Daffo community, and the Bokkos Traditional Council during this period of intense grief.

‎”We pray that the gentle soul of the departed finds eternal rest, and that the bereaved find comfort in the remarkable legacies and memories left behind by the late leader,” Barji stated.
