The All Progressives Congress (APC) has leveled accusations against opposition parties, alleging their involvement in inciting widespread protests aimed at undermining the government led by Bola Tinubu. The party’s statement follows recent protests in Minna, Niger State, and Kano State, which it claims were instigated by opposition forces seeking to exploit the country’s hardships.

Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, asserted in a released statement on Tuesday that the protests witnessed on Monday in Minna and Kano were deliberate acts aimed at tarnishing the image of the ruling party and portraying it as ineffective.

“In their blatant desperation to depict the APC-led administration as failing, opposition parties have resorted to manipulating unsuspecting youths into staging protests in major cities,” Morka stated.

He emphasized the synchronicity of the protests in both Minna and Kano as evidence of a well-coordinated effort to sow unrest and destabilize the government. Morka condemned these tactics as a direct threat to public peace and national security.

While acknowledging the citizens’ right to peaceful protest, Morka urged vigilance against falling prey to opposition ploys aimed at stoking social discord through provocative rhetoric and schemes.

Morka reiterated the commitment of the Tinubu-led administration to navigate through necessary reforms, aimed at easing the nation’s current challenges and fostering sustainable prosperity for all Nigerians. He urged citizens to support the government’s efforts, emphasizing that these reforms will ultimately lead to significant improvements in the country’s living standards.

In conclusion, Morka called upon Nigerians to reject attempts by opposition elements to destabilize the nation for their political gain, urging solidarity in the pursuit of national stability and progress.
